Days 3-6: Journey's End Sanctuary

My 4 days volunteering at Journey's End Sanctuary was nothing short of amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment there. I even had to drag myself away at the end of the day, I didn't want to leave! Coming soon will be my "Sanctuary Spotlight" but basically this non profit takes in disabled animals found on the streets. Animals that would otherwise either die on their own or be put down in a shelter.

The animals here have such personalities, you fall in love with them easily. I even was trying to figure out if it was possible to take one with me on my trip with my 2 cats lol. Now, Journey's End doesn't adopt out, this is their forever home. Under special circumstances they may, but only to volunteers or personally known people (like myself). No, I didn't take one but it did inspire me to perhaps start this somewhere else perhaps...but that is another project for the future :)
