Kale Cafe http://kalecafejuicebar.com/
My first and top pick for this area is actually in nearby Daytona. Yes, I know, I'm sorry! But if you are looking around the area, it is definitely worth it. Take a walk up and down Beach Street then stop in for a good juice or delicious food! (Then head back to DeLand because there is nothing else to see in Daytona).
So I went to Kale Cafe twice during my visit, once for just a
smoothy and once for a juice and dinner. Both times left me
more than satisfied. Oh and the best part? It is all vegan! So
no worries about checking the menu at one of the many
"veg friendly" we always see. To the is the snapshot of the
chicken burger with side kale salad. So sorry, yes, I took a bite or two before taking the picture. It just looked too good and I got excited lol.
I also snapped a picture of part of the counter because I liked how it showed both the food menu and the atmosphere you get here. Although they have burgers, they are most known for their daily lunch menu which is Jamaican themed! My only regret is I wasn't able to go one more time to try their lunch special :(

On the main street of DeLand (don't worry, it's a small place so you won't get lost) is a little place of latin fusion cuisine. Their menu was pretty impressive and I instantly found a couple options for me. Unfortunately I then found out they have a seperate vegan menu! So my choice got that much harder. After some hardcore pondering I finally made a
decision to go for the enchiladas. Filled with black beans and a delicious red sauce and paired with some house made guacamole, left me very happy. The size was a little on the small side which left me wanting more but the chips and guac make sure you don't leave hungry!
