Weekend stopover in Asheville, NC!

Well yesterday was quite the travel day. Ebony, Ivory and I got in our car and drove through NY, Maryland, West Virginia and Virginia to arrive safely in Marshall, NC just outside of Asheville. The whole trip was 12.5 hours! Luckily this is the only long drive planned. We will be staying the weekend here at the beautiful home of the Hill family, a very kind AR family that welcomed a stranger into their home. They took me to an amazing vegan restaurant last night called Rosita's. Which, by the way, sells some items at whole foods so look for it next time you are there!

I will spend the weekend checking out the Asheville scene and have some impromptu stops at local sanctuaries, thanks to Virginia Hill who has informed me all about how wonderful they are! Pictures from them to come so stay tuned!
