Day 1: Farm Sanctuary Watkins Glen!

My first volunteer day has come to a close! I worked hard and froze for half of it, but all in all it was a success! During down time here and there; I pet some pigs, played with a goat, and hugged a cow :) These beautiful creatures have such unique personalities! Tomorrow I will be shadowing the medical unit doing checks on the animals.
