My Sanctuary Volunteer Kickstarter was a great success! I made just short of $3,000 with 41 backers.

I am a fiercly independent person...very used to doing everything on myself. So this project is pushing me out of my comfort zone because in order to do what I need for these rescue sanctuaries, I need help from as many caring and compassionate people as possible. The response I got during the kickstarter really humbled me. It showed me how many people believe in me and the rescue of the used and abused animals of our world. My dedication runs deep and this is only the beginning of a lifelong quest; so thank you for being here to share my adventures with me!

So what will be happening now is I am going to be traveling to different animal rescue sanctuaries, starting in New York City (my current home) to Portland, Oregon (my future home). I will be volunteering myself with whatever work they need, interviewing the owners, meeting the animals and learning about the who what when where why and how of their establishment. Before I leave, I will be hosting a fundraiser for them to hopefully raise some money so I am not leaving them empty handed.
